Helpful Tips to Getting Hired Offshore

Azur Oil has a range of interesting career opportunities for people who wants to work offshore.

We are always looking for the right offshore candidates with relevant experience.

If you are interested in working on one of our rigs, you can search all vacancies or read more about our company.

How can I find out which position is right for me?

Before you apply for a position, you should know what you want out of your career. Working on a rig means you should consider whether hands-on practical work offshore in a rotational position is right for you.

>: Make sure you apply for the job that fits your skills and interests – it’s better to send one application for the right position than ten applications for the wrong ones.

If you aren’t sure which positions would best match your background, you should contact us. we’ll be glad to help you find a suitable position

Experience matters

Azur Oil values people with all types of trade and qualifications.
But offshore positions are often quickly filled by applicants with previous experience working on a rig.

If you have no previous experience then you can demonstrate your commitment to offshore work by applying for a roustabout position.

Once you know about daily life on a rig, you’ll be in a better position to be our next staff.

How do I get offshore experience when no one will hire me without offshore experience?

Since entry level positions are very competitive, our recruiters are often asked this question.

If you have a trade background but no offshore experience, we recommend you first work for a service company, and then after gaining some experience, you will be more likely to be hired for a permanent rotational position with Azur Oil.
